There are other books, but this is what I could think of right now.
2007 was a whirlwind. I attended my second Romantic Time conference in Texas where I was honored with the RT Award for my historical romance, Maiden and the Monster. Talk about a great honor.
I attended my very first RWA Nationals, also in Texas. I also spoke on my first panel, as part of the Never Estimate a Lady workshop put on by Virgin Books.
Virgin Books was acquired by Random House and I'm thrilled to not only continue working with the Virgin Books staff but also Random House's. They are a great bunch of people!
For 2008, I'm a finalist in the Brava Novella Contest and a finalist again for the RT Award for The Bound Prince. I hope to hear more about those results soon! As of this exact second, my appearances schedule isn't set in stone, but I'll be sure to post on my blog, newsletter and wherever else I can think of when I do know for sure.
So, without further ado...
The Futuristics
First, let me say that the response to my work in this genre is unbelievable. I can't thank all of my fans enough for their support.
Yes, I still have many plans for the Dragon Lords/Lords of the Var universe. I hope to start a new series, Space Lords, that follows the obnoxious space-faring crew you met in the Lords of the Var. (book one of the Space Lords: Frost Maiden had been released in ebook, coming to print soon). Also on the list is at least a couple more Zhang Dynasty and a couple brand new sequel series that I'm not talking about yet ;) I will tell you, the Dragon Lords you know and love are not gone.
RED LIGHT SPECIALISTS - I've gotten some email as to whether or not Mandy Roth and I will do a sequel. The short answer is---email Ellora's Cave and bug them for it. If you put pressure on them, they put pressure on us. We've discussed doing more, but no plans are set at this time.
Paranormal Series
Lords of the Abyss
Book three is in the works. I'll post more as I get more info.
Pleasure Cruise
Ellora's Cave is considering Pleasure Cruise 3 my joint with Mandy Roth.
Recipe for Disaster ~ Spring 2008
Aspiring chef, Zoe Matthews has lost her job and all hopes of a satisfying future. If that wasn’t bad enough, she’s just publicly shot down her one and only chance at culinary redemption. Restaurant mogul, Jackson Levy is determined to teach the rude city-slicker a lesson in manners. What she thinks will be a head chef position at one of his fancy restaurants turns out to be a small town diner. Can this city girl and a country boy find common ground? Or is this just a recipe for disaster?
Degrees of Passion ~ Fall 2008
The second college student Sasha Matthews spotted Trevor Kingston she knew it was fate. He’s everything a girl could want—handsome, charming, rich. With student loans piling up and no clear idea what she wants to do with her future, he’s the best thing she has going. But, Mr Perfect’s façade begins to crumble when she sees him photographed with another woman in the newspaper’s society pages.
Breaking up with her high society boyfriend, a distraught Sasha finds comfort in the arms of moody, hard working Kevin Merchant whose cuteness is overshadowed by his know-it-all attitude. One drunken night of passion is hardly the start of a relationship and when Trevor wants her back the choice seems clear.
In order to graduate Sasha must participate in an important internship. But, she’s paired with the very guy she’s swore never to see again. Forced to work alongside Kevin, long hours in the lab turn into tempting nights of seduction. Should she deny what’s between them and await the return of her ideal boyfriend, or will life teach her lessons this professional student never expected to learn?
Other titles planned (hopefully) for this year are:
Lords of the Abyss 3
A new series for Ellora's Cave
More Space Lords
A few projects for Virgin Publishing
